The Center for Children and Women está en transición

El Centro para Niños y Mujeres cerrará el 30 de junio de 2024 y reabrirá el 1 de julio de 2024 como Texas Children's Pediatrics (TCP) Westwood.

La buena noticia es que nuestros pacientes pediátricos actuales pueden seguir recibiendo atención pediátrica primaria, atención dental, optometría, de salud mental, del habla y nutrición en la nueva clínica de TCP.

Continuaremos brindando el mismo excelente servicio y apoyo a tus hijos. Además, TCP Westwood aceptará la mayoría de los planes de seguro.

Las mujeres que aún reciben cuidado ginecológico y de obstetricia en The Center deberán hacer la transición a un nuevo proveedor médico antes del 28 de junio de 2024. Nuestro equipo de coordinación del cuidado se comunicará contigo para ayudarte o puedes llamarnos en cualquier momento a los números que aparecen a continuación para solicitar un nuevo proveedor médico.

Extensión de la cobertura postparto de Medicaid y CHIP

A partir del 1 de marzo de 2024, la Comisión de Salud y Servicios Humanos de Texas (HSS) ha ampliado su cobertura postparto de 2 a 12 meses para mujeres elegibles. Los 12 meses de cobertura postparto comienzan el mes posterior a la finalización del embarazo. Las pacientes no necesitan presentar una solicitud para ampliar su cobertura.

Se restablecerá la cobertura para aquellas que la perdieron y aún se encuentran en el período de elegibilidad.

The Center for Children and Women Grand Opening

HOUSTON, TX – Texas Children’s Health Plan has invited the public to celebrate the opening of The Center for Children and Women. Texas Children’s Health Plan has invited the public to celebrate the opening of The Center for Children and Women. The festivities will kick off with a ribbon cutting followed by family-friendly activities, including free food, music, face painting and much more. Guided tours of the facility will be offered along with information about The Center for Children and Women’s services.

The approximately 50,000-square-foot facility, located in the greater Greenspoint area of Houston, The Center for Children and Women is a primary care physician practice medical home for Texas Children’s Health Plan members. The facility is designed to address the shortage of primary care medical needs for the Medicaid and CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program) populations.
