The Center for Children and Women is Closing
Greenspoint location December 1, 2023
Southwest location June 30, 2024
The date The Center for Children and Women will close depends on the location where you were getting care.
- The Center for Children and Women at Greenspoint location will close on Dec. 1, 2023.
- The Center for Children and Women at Southwest will close on June 30, 2024.
After those dates, the Center will no longer provide services.
Your health coverage will not change. You will still get all the services that are part of Texas Children’s Health Plan coverage while your coverage remains in force. You will just need to get care from a different doctor.
You will need to pick a new doctor for your care after the center closes. Texas Children’s Health Plan can also match you up with a provider near your home if you do not pick a new doctor. You can always change that provider if you want.
