(Houston, TX) - Texas Children's Health Plan - The Center for Children and Women is proud to announce that Dr. Lisa Hollier, MD, MPH, medical director of Obstetrics and Gynecology, has been elected assistant secretary of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). ACOG, a national nonprofit organization representing more than 55,000 members and partners in women's health, advocates for quality women's health care.
With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Hollier is also a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine and director of the Division of Women's Health Law and Policy at Baylor College of Medicine. A national expert in obstetrics and gynecology, her work has been published in key national journals, and she serves on several national boards. She received her doctorate in Medicine from Tulane University School of Medicine and masters in Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Topical Medicine.
