Our virtual maternity tours are led by a live guide, orient your family to the Pavilion for Women and prepare you for maternity hospitalization.

Basic baby care

This class helps first-time parents with the basics: the first days in the hospital, swaddling, diapering, bathing, newborn health, understanding your baby’s communication and soothing crying.

Breastfeeding and pumping

Our prenatal classes, “First Days of Breastfeeding,” “All About Breastfeeding” and “All About Pumping” provide you with the information you need to achieve your personal infant feeding goals.

Breastfeeding friends

This free weekly breastfeeding mother’s discussion group is led by a lactation consultant and gives mothers the information and support they need to achieve their breastfeeding goals.

Childbirth preparation

Our childbirth classes are led by Lamaze-certified childbirth educators, helping prepare you and your partner for the many possibilities of labor, delivery and the first few weeks after birth.

Coaching for parents-to-be, parents and grandparents

In this private session, a board-certified coach will work with you to help you find answers and solutions to your questions. Together, you’ll design a personal action plan for your situation.

Grandparents' class

This live, remote class prepares grandparents-to-be for the arrival of their grandchild by focusing on what’s changed since they were new parents, the transition from the role of parent to grandparent and safety precautions.

Infant CPR and safety

In this class, a registered nurse will teach you CPR for infants up to one year of age and safety strategies for infants, toddlers and children. You’ll receive your own Infant CPR Anytime® kit with a “Mini Baby” mannequin so you can practice and teach others what to do in an emergency.

Preparing for multiple private consultations

The questions and learning needs of families expecting multiples are unique to each family. In this sixty to ninety-minute private consultation, we'll customize information based on your questions and needs.

Preparing for your newborn's hospitalization

This class helps parents whose babies have received a prenatal diagnosis prepare for their baby's birth and hospitalization in the Neonatal or Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (NICU and CICU).

Sleep and scheduling

This live, remote class explores the evidence behind infant sleep and scheduling and answers your questions so that you can determine the best approach for your family.
