Prepare for this flu season at Texas Children’s® Health Plan – The Center for Children and Women’s flu shot event! At our Drive-Boo to flu event, you can:
 

  • Wear your spookiest costumes

  • Trunk or treat for fun goodies

  • Strike a pose in the photo booth

  • Meet and Greet Sonic, Mickey and Minnie Mouse

  • Enjoy healthy goodies and snacks

  • Get a flu shot at no cost*

  • Get your COVID-19 Vaccine at no cost**

Registration is required to receive the flu and COVID-19 vaccines, but not to attend the event. Exclusively for pediatric patients of The Center

*Must preregister and be current pediatric patient of The Center for Children and Women to receive the flu shot at Boo to Flu. Eligible children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Eligible parents will also receive a flu vaccine at no cost. Vaccines are limited by supply, staffing and time.

**Individuals ages 12 and over are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Eligible children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Limited capacity available for the vaccines. Other age and medical restrictions apply. Registration is required.

***Community (non-center patients) must preregister to receive the flu shot at Boo to flu with the Texas Children’s Hospital Mobile Clinic. The Texas Children’s Hospital Mobile Clinic is a Texas Vaccines for Children (VFC) provider. Non-Center patients ages 0 to 18 are eligible to receive vaccines through our program if they have no insurance or have Medicaid. For questions about VFC eligibility, please call 832-372-9871. Eligible children must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. Vaccines are limited by supply, staffing and time.
